About the Event

Ashley Gerda is a Face2Face program coordinator for Kids Escaping Drugs at the Renaissance Campus.  She provides education and community outreach to local youth through peer panel presentations at schools, as well as early interventions for at-risk youth.  She will discuss social media and the normalization of substance misuse as well as an overview of how teens are exposed to, use, and become addicted to opioids.
