Opioid Prevention Education Project

The New York State Area Health Education Center (AHEC) System received funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), in order to expand training related to opioid diagnosis, use, treatment and prevention for current health professionals, future practitioners, and the general population, in order to combat the opioid crisis in New York State.

Join Erie Niagara AHEC for our        Opioid Education Webinar Series!

 

This weekly, six-part series will discuss topics such as opioid addiction, prevention, prescription usage, harm reduction, and Narcan awareness and usage.

Presentations will run from Wednesday, July 15 through Wednesday, August 19. Each educational webinar will occur via Zoom from noon to 1:00 pm.
